Romans

The Romans brought forth the massive development in sculpture / which derived  itself form the greeks,

With their ability to capture the beauty of the human body, the detail was impeccable, you will also find in this era that a lot of the sculptures were nude, a lot of their sports were dangerous such as lions taking on  gladiators.

Their other art styles include mosaics, which were pictures made up of thousands of tiny different coloured stones.

Below the sculpture dedicated to the legend of Romes beginning. ( she-wolf feeding Romulus and Remus)

The Romans early art was influenced by the Greeks and their neighbors the Etruscans,  whose specialty was to carve tomb sized pictures out of a dark material named terracotta. Terracotta was also used by the chinese to carve warrior statues to be buried with the emperor.
